At the time of the autographing tour, our Negro Leagues Baseball Legends ranged between 60 and 91 years of age.

*Five of our Negro Leagues Baseball Legends Jim Bolden, Leroy Cromartie, Jimmy Dean, Ted Rasberry, and Tommy Sampson perished before the trading cards were delivered from the printing press. Throughout the autograph tour (February 2002), several of our Negro Leagues Baseball Legends were not physically able to autograph the entire lot of trading cards allocated. In some cases; when a whole-hearted attempt to perform an autograph was made, we embraced their effort and preserved the card. I was quite amazed and very pleased by their willingness to participate in the autograph session in a somewhat compromising state of health - illustrating exactly what kind of men these men were. In several instances we hit a wall and were unable to collect enough personal autographs to complete the entire collection. In cases were a personal autograph could not be had, cards bearing foil stamped copies of their autograph were used in their place (these cards were created during the printing process). A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each collection and identifies those cards that are personally autographed (PA) and those that bear a foil stamp (FS).

We’ve used the majority of the autographed trading cards and storied memorabilia to create our Signature Series Trading Card Collection Line-up. Each SSTCC is registered, assigned a place in the BLC Tribute Inventory, prioritized by the number of personal autographs contained in each and identified accordingly. Every trading card in the inventory assigned to a collection rests protected in a soft sleeve nestled comfortably inside of a hard-shell top loader.

PREMIER SSTCC and LEGEND SSTCC’s are boxed presentations that contain 60 cards; 54 (PA) Personal Autographs, 5 (FS) Foil Stamped Autographs and a Roster. Each of these collections are paired with a uniquely special piece of our storied memorabilia.

LEGACY SSTCC Collections are boxed presentations containing 60 cards offered in configurations of:
54 PA & 5 FS + R, 53 PA & 6 FS + R, 51 PA & 8 FS + R, and 50 PA & 9 FS + R.

TRIBUTE SSTCC Collections are bundled card sets containing 60 cards offered in configurations of:
50 PA & 9 FS, 49 PA & 10 FS, and 48 PA & 11 FS.
